• In 2002, North Carolina hosted 78 major productions-including 8 feature films, 70 TV projects and record numbers of commercials and industrial production activity spread out from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Atlantic Seaboard.  North Carolina continues to experience a resurgence of independent, non-union feature film production.
• Since 1980, North Carolina has attracted over 700 features, 13 cable and network television series, and more than $6 billion in production revenue.
